We are excited to announce that our custom contemporary home has taken First Place in the 2022 Detroit Design Awards Readers’ Choice Best Overall Home category.

We are excited to be in the Grundfos Friday Feature! Grundfos makes pumps that help to pioneer solutions and we love using them in our custom homes. Putting together this mechanical room was an enjoyable project and we are proud of the results our team has accomplished.

Today’s Friday Feature is an installation in Traverse City, Michigan. Joseph Philip Craig Custom Homes and Coleman Mechanical installed a three-zone snowmelt system covering 3,000 square feet and a 14-zone heating system for a newly built, 15,000 square foot home.

Select system products include one (1) Grundfos MAGNA1 32-100 F, three (3) MAGNA1 32-60 F, fourteen (14) ALPHA 15-55 FC, two (2) UP 15-58 FC, five (5) MAGNA1 32-100 F, and one (1) ALPHA 15-55 FC; Watts Water Technologies Tekmar controls; Uponor plumbing for radiant heating and cooling; Cummins Inc. generators; Bryant furnaces; and U.S. Boiler Company boilers.

Why were Grundfos pumps chosen for the install? “Grundfos is flat out the best,” said Jamie Cracchiolo, owner, JP Craig Custom Homes. “They are the most efficient, energy-saving pumps, functional for operations and setup.”

Northern Michigan vacations provided the inspiration for the 12,700 square-foot residence’s architectural choice, a relaxed shingle-style that unifies the design inside and out.
